Question crutch/trek pole? manufacturer

Anyone know what company makes a treking pole/crutch for handicap persons. My brother ran into a handicap woman hiking in Pisgah this new years eve using a combination hand crutch /trek pole. But so far I have been unable to find these online or on any of the backpacking boards. Begining to wonder if my brother was seeing things but he insists this is what she was using but he didnt get to talk to her long and didnt think to ask where she purchased them as she was wanting to make sure she hit summit before nightfall. These would be great for my teenage son the rubber tips on his crutches take such a beating on even short day hikes and have to be replaced often.

Does such a thing exist?

Not manufactured

Was me was making part of a trip I didnt get to make last year.....

My poles were modified by a good friend back in Ky so I would have the arm support of the crutch without the wgt. I'm currently packing the PCT he also fabricated a set of tips for my crutches. I dont have a number with me right now but I'm sure he would be glad to help you out. If your still interested leave a message here & I'll be glad to get you contact info
