I don't have too many digital pics as the camera was my wife's; with good reason I was never allowed to carry it anywhere. I ended up smashing it on a trip to Boston in 2002; but I'm working on scanning a bunch and I will have a digital before long again so I'll have some recent stuff up soon. Here are a few pics of my friend Dan and I in Harpers Creek Wilderness. Dan is a graduate student at Appalachian State in streamwater ecology so we mix business with pleasure for him and Siggy and I are just along for the backpacking. The weather was deathly cold, mostly in the high 20s and low thirties early March. My dog had to be "coaxed" ie drug into the water for the crossings. Several times we had to cross in the glory of our birth becuase the water was running so high in some of the streams...Great place to get to visit and one of the highest waterfalls in NC is there as well. I have been having a devil of a time trying to resize photos so I can post. I think I have it this time. This is the wife and I the first week of april of 2000. We spent a week on Harper Creek just below where Raider Camp Creek joins it. All we saw the whole week was 5 day hikers and the FBI looking for ? the bomber. We had 25 square miles and five waterfalls all to ourselves.
For five nights I had hung the food bag but on the sixth I didn't. Big mistake. During the night coons got into it and stole all of my coffee and candy. Anything but the coffee but noooo. I had to drink some of the wife's girly coffee. Called Tango in the Night or Sudden Passion or something like that. Made me want to go to the bathroom in a group for a week. I hope this works!!!! What is the problem that you are having? Generally, etiquette says that posted photos should have a resolution of 72 to 100 ppi, and that the largest dimension shouldn't exceed 600 pixels. For the pic to look right to most people on most machines/monitors, sRGB is probably the best profile to embed. When I drag one of your pics off to my desktop (benefit of having a Mac), the largest dimension is 700 pixels, with an embeded profile of sRGB. So you're not that far off.

What software are you using to resize?
