They stole my bikes

last week. Had them in the back of the truck Friday. Litespeed Ocoee and a Cannondale Cad 3, just put about $300.00 into the Cannondale the week before. Needless to say, I am more than a bit pissed.

sorry to hear it, Gam. That truly sucks.

Hopefully it wasn't one of your clients.

Well

homeowner's isn't going to cover it, but if I get into that it will sound like a bad country song. I'm a Juvenile Court Judge a couple of days a week...I have my suspicions On a brighter note, the dudes at the local shop heard about it and they said I could use any of their demo bikes until I get something, not that they would be trying to sell me something or anything. I'm goin backpacking waaay off the trail, heard the most god aweful scream/howl near this place one night I've ever heard. Have absolutely no idea what it was, finally decided that something was being eaten by something bigger, still creeps me out.

dammit Gam!! What the hell is the matter with people anyway??? Too bad, while driving home, you didn't see the *******s riding on the side of the road.....at least you could have run their sorry asses over! Also....that noise you heard....bobcats can make one heck of a loud and very eerie scream....and usually in the dead of night, although I don't know what triggers it....maybe part-time juvie judges sleeping in their neighborhood : ) Sorry to hear the bad news Gam. Ed.

Sorry for your loss Gam! Keep checking any used bike shops around your area. A buddy of mine had his bike stolen and the idiots tried to sell it to the shop down the street.

I feel for ya,

A couple of years ago I also had two of my prize posesssion bike stolen. Homeowners also wouldn't cover them. I did learn that if I woudl have had them locked down in the back of the truck (thule, yakima......) They woudl have covered them, but I jsut had a bike bar wide a lock going through them and it seems that was considered locked down. But on a lighter note, I do have bike coverage at the tune od $20 a year, with a no fault coverage (Mtb races, parks locked, unlocked, different state) it si all covered. Well worth it when you get that much $$$ tied into a bike.
