    i think that's one of the only times that number can be considered a good thing.

    it always impresses me how much more snow the US gets than Euro. not only is the number twice as big, but we're talking inches not wimpy centimeters.

    Nice.... Satanic snowfall... Gotta love the totals though... Number are almost the same for total snowfall between there and Tahoe, except you have half the water content that we do... Fluffy.... fluffy.... pow... pow.... some day I'll get out there to enjoy the difference... In the meantime I guess I'll put up with our gloppy quick-set cement..

    The base depth is interesting, as it appears that your's is holding up better.... Guess spring temps have hit us a bit harder so far... Oh well.. Another 12-18" expected between now and Saturday... Guess it's time to squeeze in another day at the resorts.

    man, anything over 100 inch base is deeeeeeeeep

    Whistler is at 245 cms......which is just a smidge over 100 inches and way more than anyone expected would happen this year....heading back up on Friday.

    The problem with spring is that the thaw/freeze cycle doesn’t compare to Colorado.
