Mammoth Mountain photos from Sun 10/24

Sounds like everyone is getting snow!

This was supposed to be a peak bagging weekend in NV, even planned an extra day off. With the early snowfall, we changed plans, and I got on my board for a day! Whoohooo! Snowboarding in October!!!

Day 1 of a 3 day trip. Due to the early snowfall in the White Mtns, we had to change our plans. Didn't do Boundary/Montgomery Pks, and looked for any trail that was accessible

Day 2 of 3: Mammoth Mtn opened 3 weeks early after the early season storms. On Sunday we couldn't drive to the nearby trailheads, so Calhiker told me I should go snowboarding. Snowboarding in October in 4' of powder . . . a great way to start the season!!!!

You are missing something.. What, I don't know.. They all show up fine for me..

Anyway, good pics... Gotta love powder days in October, unless you were some of those stranded hikers when the stoms initially hit.... oops...

November 13-14: Solo weekend at Mammoth

    Photos: http://community.webshots.com/album/217360086dQqvoC

Saturday: no visibility. Parking was way below the earthquake fault. Top was closed so the lines were crowded. But it was fun!

Sunday: bluebird day! 8:45am - 4:15pm without a lunch break! Great day for riding!

    November 20-21 solo weekend

Forum gathering, only met up with one other person. Couldn't find the others, low visibility, plan was to check the gondola every hour, but since the top was closed it was a PITA to go over there.
