    Happy Halloween...

Any of you "kids" dressing up for Halloween? I'm dressing warm as it's supposed to rain/snow on Sunday.

Mikayla is going to be a horse and we're trick-or-treating in town, big festival thing. Dogs are allowed so we're dressing her puppy up as a cowboy with the gun belt, bandana and a badge.

Just think of what 2 girls are like!...

First Tantrumette is going as Belle from Beauty and the Beast and second Tantrumette will be Sleeping Beauty. Their mother is thrilled as I am the one who will take them out in the 30 degree wet weather. However, our neighbourhood is pretty cool in that a few houses give out beers to the dads. I got a bit toasted last year.

He loves his little girl. He's taken to leaving our room at about midnight every night and popping up onto her bed to sleep.

    I'll post photos on Monday.....

    Aren't kids and pets cool?...

Our kids terrorized our 2 cats when they were crawling and toddlers but now one cat loves to sleep with the girls. In fact, the cat sleepscon the pillow, wrapped around their heads! The first Tantrumette got so fed up she now refuses to sleep with the cat. How big will the puppy get?

He's about a year old now and is pushing 50 lbs. He's a Border Colie mix, probably with hound or lab. He's a pound puppy

    Pound puppies are cool!...

50 lbs in bed with you might get a bit crowded, unless you little princess already has a King sized bed.

    Death in Dixie

I'm throwing a Halloween bash tonight! Should be a good ole redneck affair. Going to be pretty scary, actually.

It's only going to be in the basement of my house and the yard. In the basement there are four rooms, all only lit by red lights. 'Lost Souls Tavern' (that's what the scary sign from Target says). A game room with newspapers on the wall with things circled. And porn. My office is now a maze made up up tarps, a sail, hammocks, and whatever else i could find. The exit to the maze is a closet. The closet has a secret passage into the next room (secret passage was created by previous tenants who used my office as a grow room no lie) The next room only has three things: a staticy tv, a chair and a telephone. And then you try a couple of doors to find your way out.

In the backyard (which is and acre +.5) There will be a bonfire (hanging in the trees are Blair Witch Figurines, one 8ft tall). There is also the motor home from motor home massacre (http://www.motorhomemassacre.com). There will be a horror film projected on the side of the house. And lastly, there is a single wide trailer which is highly delapidated, which looks like room out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre(I will be leatherface). And that is where the second keg will be.

phew! maybe I should get a job?

    Man, I'm exhausted just...

reading your description. I can only imagine the shape you'll be in tomorrow morning. Sounds like a knee-slapping good time.

Maybe this should be your job?

    "The Official Party Planner"
Darn mehug, that is a Halloween gore gash bash, if I ever heard of one, impossible not to have a good time!

However, Atlanta is too far for for me, but I think we are going to have a good time as well, check our party plans out:
"Circus Contraption's Halloween Blowout! Hangar 30. Featuring the Circus Contraption Band and the Infernal Noise Brigade, who will pound your eardrums into blissful submission. Watch in wonderment and dismay at the talents of The Amazing Rubberboy. Wander through the catacombs of doom, sure to send a chill down your throat and put a lump in your spine. Kneel down before the pumpkin shrine. Gawk in amazement at the Aerialistas as they dangle precariously from the rafters. And witness the guillotine of justice as it casts it merciless unflinching vote just four days before you will!"

...and to top it all out, a recreation of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance!

And I thought OUR basement was interesting with its crooked rooms, slanted hallways and locks on the outsides of the doors (oh yeah, and don't forget the recessed rectangular mirror at eye-level that looks like a two-way mirror). I think your basement beats our basement. I'd love to see footage or photos of that thing.

    How was the party???

I think everyone should post photos of themselves or their kids and/or dogs from Halloween night. I was lame and did nothing but wait for kids to knock on my door and give them lots and lots of candy . Roaring good time!!

I hear ya. I think we're gonna hit Tahoe in the summer time (stay at my parents timeshare for a few days post honeymoon). Pre-wedding unfortunately doesnt leave any room left on the budget for a vacation. Maybe next year though!

So, do CO this year and Tahoe next year with us!! What a plan!!!
