Macgyver's way to escape an avalanche

I was watching Macgyver the other day, when he got caught in an avalanche.I was worried, but he smart. So this is how you survive one according to him.First make sure you have plenty of room, avalanches don't pack you in,they just build a nice igloo around you. Take apart you ski pole,so it's like a big straw.Ram it thru your nice avalanche igloo. Then make a parachute out of your vest & zipper.Shove it into the ski pole & blow, not like that Canuck. Then the parachute will gently glide down to your little fat, bald friend. I always thought you should roll into a ball & play dead, then the avalanche will leave you alone. I can't wait for my next avalanche, they should be embrassed not feared.

    If that doesn't work...

You could try making plastic explosive out of bubble gum and tin foil.

You know what they say about a man with large hands.;)

I always figured you should simply carry a pistol with you, when the avvy stops moving, simply ascertain which was is up, and blast a nice airhole with the gun.

If that doesn't work, shoot yourself in the head?

    He always overcomplicates things.

Pffft. Dude could just light his farts on fire and blowtorch it?
