So…. winter is around the corner

My winter play/work seclude will be-
Monday = no work and all play
Tuesday = no work and all play
Wednesday = no work and all play
Thursday = play and then go to work 4-10pm
Friday = play and go to work 2-10 pm
    Saturday= work all day
    Sunday = work all day

Easy living, living stingy, seldom partying, playing hard.
People are starting to think I’m a pathological lying fool when I tell them what I used to do. But that’s ok because I’m so

What am I doing? Cooking at a country club with an kick ass boss and ski partner.

    Anyone ever date a waitress?

    What are everybody’s plans?

    My winter schedule...

Monday = all work and no play
Tuesday = all work and no play
Wednesday = all work and no play
Thursday = all work and no play
Friday = all work and no play; drive to the mtn house; arrive 8PM
Saturday= fight the crowds for groomers at Breck
Sunday = fight the traffic on I-70 back to Denver

    Sounds exciting, no?

The mtn house? Is that new? Sounds exciting to me.

Out of curiosity, who moved into that big brick building up on the hill in Louisville buy the open space and power lines? You know the one you can see from 36 on your right.(Coming from Denver) Forget the address

Felt it in the air last night...

...had to get up in the wee hours and put on socks and a sweater to sleep! Even in SoCal.

I like your winter schedule. Nope, never dated a waitress, so can't help you there. ;)

I work sorta whenever/wherever, usually nights and weekend days, and have my fingers crossed this will continue into winter, and I might even set foot on snow this season.

Can't wait for fall and winter. I hate summer!

The mountain house is my in-law's. Just don't talk about it much.

I'm not sure who moved into the brick building. I rarely drive that route.

Is your CC gig in SLC?

I mark the change of season by the influx/outflux of tourists here by the beach. The German Invasion seems to be retreating...black socks and sandals, begone!

Yeah, in San Diego we used the Zonie invasion (Arizonians) as a weather baromoter. Although, I seem to remember some staying well past their typical migration date of late Aug.

Fall quarter I'm going to school at UW and escaping whenever I can (after class! weekends!) to the snow.

Winter quarter I'm ditching school and moving to Mt. Baker to work and play

You should check into whether you could get any credit for the time you spend at Baker. Call it an "Independent Study" course.

Me neither, well an ex-waitress but that doesn’t count. Stereotypically the more common then not lifestyle frightens me. Maybe some day I’ll open a museum of livers and cigarette buts.

I actually have a friend who one quarter got 16 credits for riding, teaching, and getting a bunch of AASI certifications.

Think they would count snowboarding as a visual, literary, and performing arts course? Or a foreign language? Or psych?!

Drop the kids off at the pool, then go riding. Do you ever get up to resorts in N.Van? I have no problem working, I just need my daily fix of riding.

I think you missed out on some other "1 nighter" activity that was included in the pass.

I'm sure the snow will be plentiful this year, somewhere. You have a beginner g/f, are you working your way up to a more experienced gf? Sounds like Vancouver is getting ghetto on us or they just don't like cars(except for Canaria's)
