kind of new to this- but fell in love with it - did real good first two times up in montana- want to buy a rod - like these two- any advice

Both are great rods. I would suggest getting the one that "fits" you. The one that feels the best and is most comfortable for your stroke. As far as quality goes, both are excellent. I am a Sage man myself, I prefer them over the Winston because I prefer the way a Sage feels when I am casting. Strictly personal prefernece.
