A big dump of snow in the very near future. Nice pics to close out the year.

werd. last week's storm just missed chamonix, hit central switz instead. a half meter or so of fresh, closed mountain passes, and a bluebird conditions. now there is another 25cms or so coming this week, this time more at chamonix.

however, the season may not be over, there are still a few spots open till end of may. but can i work up the motivation? i did my preseason maintenance on the bullit on saturday. maybe time to shift gears...

This last weekend did a nice MTB ride in the foothills and almost barfed a lung on some climbs. It's a lot easier to go downhill than up!

We're supposed to get the storm that just went through Nor. Cal. I heard I-80 from Sacto to Reno was closed because of heavy, wet snow. Not time to plant the garden just yet.

Yes, CO should get a good bit from this.. Again. Had some freakish weather around the the bay and central cali... More funnel clouds, pea sized hail, the works... Good times were had by all..

I'll be driving up for a little spring riding on Saturday I think... Here's a pic of the road in to "the spot": (taken on May 8th) so there's bit a little new snow since then...

There are only two resorts still open on CO: A-Basin will probably be your best bet close to Denver. Silverton Mountain in southern CO is still open with guided tours only and 100" base.
