Anyone stateside interested in an extreme mountain run that starts in Austria and ends on the summit of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze. 19km with 1800m elevation gain. Here is the website's fotos, the rest is in Germany: http://www.getgoing.de/frameset.htm.
If anyone is seriously interested in doing this run let me know. I would be glad to put you up a few weeks for acclimatization and sightseeing.
