for Bear Mt.? Or even Sunday? A friend of mine who is a skier in the Special Olympics should be racing on Sunday and prepping during the weekend. I know I haven't been on this board to regularly, but just thought I would try.

My car is good but don't have chains:-(

Oh yeah, I'm OK, I can ride down from the highest peeks, would like to start hanging in the park(I'm over thirty so I'd like to start carefully) and don't mind going through the trees as long as the person I'm with can help me out.

Cheers, happy new year and all that,

SP

Oh yeah, you can email me at pandakeeper@gmail.com And call me, Aerin.

Hey SP, glad to see you are alive and well. It has been a while.

I'm not in SoCal so I can't help you out. The one thing I can see at this point is you shouldn't have to worry about chains next weekend if the current forecast holds true... Looks to be mild and dry for a week or so.

Anyway, hope all is well and you get a ride this weekend. Plenty of snow to play on up there these days... Tahoe's been sweet...

Panda.. Sorry I was just at Bear Sunday. I had a horrible experience though. I lost my lift ticket because I think I goofed and put it on backwards. The lift lady said someone dropped their ticket a nd my friend's heard it but I took off to the jumps on the left. The ****ers made me buy a new one, and I couldn't find the old one. Total cost for the day $98. I had the credit card receipt, pass backing and everything. And to top it off it took 2 1/2 hours just to get on the 330 due to some stupid accident. I left Bear at 4:30 and got home in SF at 3:30am. Missed all 3 of my first classes because my body was exhausted.

Sorry, I've taken so long to reply. In my "real job", I don't have computer access, I just push drinks:-).

Sorry to hear about your Bear Mt. experience. That so sucks! I didn't end up going over the weekend. I went to Mt. High instead last Monday by myself. There had been a dusting over two days and it was sweet!! I went off my very first table top!! Also, it was interesting day because the weather was changing constantly. It would clear at the peak and then a few feet down it was like London fog, you couldn't see ten feet in front of you.

Since I am from SF and relocated to So. Cal two years ago, I so miss Tahoe. I actually have a coupon for two nights at the Silver Legacy in Reno. I know Mt. Rose would probably be the closest. I would probably have to rent a four wheel drive to go up there. I'm not sure if my Saturn could take it.

I did meet a So. Cal gal who I may be meeting on Sunday.

Thanks for your responses,

Aerin
