so I bought an ipod mini, plugged it in, was told to reformat it, hit the button, and now it's been locked up for like an hour......

sheesh, how am I going to load in my 1,000 fave 80's tunes now?

The iPods are sweet. A colleague bought one with 40G on it. That's like 40,000 songs! Are there even 40,000 songs in existence? What's the mini's memory?

they say 1,000 songs....the entire Cure discography should fit on there nicely huh?

Even surfers don't really mind Bottle-Nosed Dolphins. I used to see a few in S Fla when I'd go snorkeling with my cousin. I've seen this picture before, too many peeps think it's a shark. It's not...

Dolphins have swept back dorsal fins, sharks don't. Sharks tails are vertical, that one is horizontal, like a dolphin's. Sharks have a different shaped head, more flat out to the nose.

that's nice, but if you're lying on your surfboard and suddenly see a 20 foot long dark fish-shaped shadow in the wave ahead, I seriously doubt you are going to be analyzing the slope of the trailing edge of his dorsal fin?

can either of those be used to, say, store photos from a digi? I'm sick of lugging my laptop around just so I can download the pictures. sure I could just buy a bigger memory card, but that's just silly.
