Not something I like to say, but we got enough. Took a little stroll in the backyard, new snow is past my hips, even when I'm standing. All this snow & all I do is freaking shovel. All the hills are closed, Heavenly is claiming 6' in 24 hours, not to mention the Nevada side has been closed for 3 days. Not a time to ride by yourself, next to impossible to get up if you fall. Hopefully not too many people will die this weekend, actually is a real possibility. I got to make an ST board today, screw shoveling.

Wow, nice job! I wouldn't hate me too much since I haven't ridden one run in any of the new stuff. I tried this morning after another foot last night, ended up taking me 4 hours & I still couldn't ride, got super stuck in my car, no parking( most of the hill is still closed), AC calling me every minute to tell how incredible it was. At least the 50,000 tourists are having fun. Going to ride tomorrow no matter what, we're getting another 2' tomorrow. I'll say one thing, my roommates suck at shoveling. I need snowtires, this guy & I were both super stuck on this road, he had a Toyota Tundra 4X4 with chains, still wasn't enough. Should be epic on monday, oh wait, I have to go to SF.
Don't be a hater(is that a word?)

Bummer E... Was about to give you a call about riding Monday. Just got back from North Shore today where I got a few good days in riding mellow stuff due to the weather. Had some nice fresh tracks up at Alpine on Friday which didn't suck... Even had my best tree run in years on Saturday, at Homewood... Woohoo!

Anyway, sorry to hear about work getting in the way of Monday... The bites...

I was worried about the 2-3' forcasted for sunday, can't believe that whole system missed Tahoe. Don't mind since I have to head to SF today. This was the week was like having 2 peters but only one hand. More snow this week, not too much, but another huge one next weekend. Glad you got shred the gnar, heard Homewood is a fun mtn. I got first tracks down Mott, first main gully & got close to that down the chairline. AC got full days everyday, bastage, but be nice not to have to dig.

Just my luck that I missed it. But it sounds like it I would'n't have been able to drive anywhere so it's all good.

I got first tracks down Mott, first main gully & got close to that down the chairline. That sounds like a good run from what I can remember of the terrain.

It was definitely tough getting around the North Lake area. If you were around the main roads, you stood a fighting chance.

And yah, spent 3 days at Homewood, 1 at Alpine... Then spent today at Kirkwood. They got about a foot of new since yesterday, but it came with a lot of wind. Made for some intersting ridings spots here and there.

Took a few more random pics but was riding with myself, so no action shots... And as I learned this last week, just because you have someone pointing the camera at you, doesn't mean they'll get a picture of you. You'll see what I mean when I get around to posting some tomorrow... (Tues)

Anyway, I'm beat... Off to the showers and an early night...
