Black Diamond packs???

Hello, does anybody have any experience with the larger Black Diamond packs? Do they compare to Arc'teryx... gregory... etc.? I want to get the Shadow 55 pack and it only comes in one size... I was wondering how BD packs adjust to fit different torsos?
