Hi, yes, it's me. I'm back. Been way way way busy with work - lots 'o traveling and it's not going to stop but I'm still Loving my job so everything rocks.
OK, didn't have time to look at every thread, and since this new style of forum doesnt show you titles of replies etc., i figured i'd simply ask -- where is it? where is everyone hashing it out about the outcome of the election? have some of you decided to simply mourn in quiet? doubtful!! do tell......where is all the action? :D
Let it snow, let it snow........(it snowed here in Denver a couple of days ago - they are saying its the best snowpack they've had this time of year....woohoo!!)

Welcome home!
Might be shock & aw. Maybe everybody is tired of thinking of it. Not sure, but I thought there would be more reaction to the election. I'm sure people here are venting on other forums, maybe in Techtalk.

Thanks!
Damn, I was hoping there'd be some bashing and whining going on somewhere. Personally, I had a few drinks in quiet celebration of the Victory on Wednesday.

Is it OK if we just talk about sex instead? :p
But seriously, in terms of politics, it was an interesting election. Now, I would've strongly preferred a different outcome on the national front, but in the local arena, we saw a lot of activity. I'd say about half of the outcomes suited my fancy, and, given that, I'd say that seems fair and reasonable. Some of the ballot initiatives puzzled the heck out of me, to be honest, so I didn't cast a vote either way on 'em.
Anyway, good to see you posting, baby. And very good to hear the jobby-job is treating you well, even if it's bustin' your fine be-hind a bit. Any chance your travels will bring you to SoCal?

Suprised. I was ready do live for 4 years under a Democratic administration. But it turns out that America is still behind GWB. I guess those who think like me are a majority, but they really just let their votes do the talking. I couldn't be more happy, and I feel somewhat vindicated.
Now if only he'd quit messing with the Constitution.....
