Tahoe Snow...

Bummed I didn't get out over the weekend, but I saw that some other folks did. One of the better backcountry rides in the Tahoe area is "Jake's Peak". Here is a nice shot of the conditions last week... Gotta love early season bluebird days...

Your home turf looks pretty nice, but it still looks like turf... :-/

Anyway, it looks like it'll be a couple weeks 'til we get any more snow. Just hope this early snow doesn't become a "weak base layer" to haunt the back country for the rest of the season. Should be okay as I don't see it getting extremely cold between now and the next storm. Who knows...
