The next storm is doing it's job. Looks like it'll be a solid 2ft of fresh at the base of Kirkwood, with more above before it's done...

So, anyone planning on riding this weekend? Kirkwood is supposed to be opening at least one of the two frontside chairs that go to the top this weekend. So, fresh tracks top to bottom Saturday morning... Yummy...

Anyway, I'm stoked the season is starting out well, but I keep reminding myself about last year. Great Nov-Dec, then nothing... So ride early, ride often, as it may not last...

Keep that November/December snow coming. I'd like to ride my new board in Tahoe and 2 ft of fresh every week will nicely.:D

Proper:

<table id="content"> <tbody><tr><td colspan="2">Record Breaking October

We're smashing records up here at Mammoth Mountain. A powerful storm dropped two feet of snow in the last 24 hours bringing our October snowfall total to 82 inches. That's almost 7 feet before Halloween!</pre> </td> </tr> <tr><td colspan="2">
</td></tr></tbody> </table> Pretty much the same numbers for Kirkwood... 6 1/2 feet so far... Nice...

Hey, it may rain most of November and be gone by December, you just don't know!

Hope not, but hey, it's happened...

So, advice to Tantrum is, bring the bathing suite. No matter what the hot-tub at the top of Squaw Valley will be open.. :)

dudes so you better mix in a few of the fairer sex.:D

On a medical note, hot tubs are full of germs and other nasty things. Ever heard of hot tub foliculitis? Believe me, you don't want to.

I know Rich is planning on being there. I might be there, not sure yet. Between working, moving in, building a 1/4 pipe & drinking heavily my time is limited. If you guys bring the hotties, I'll bring myself.

and hot tub at the same time? You might find it only takes half as many drinks to get lit. That's a 50% savings in cash right there.:D NK's supposed to bring the ladies so get him on it quick.
