Hi guys. I'm doing research for my school project. I'd be appreciae if you could answer some of these question for me. You can leave any comments if you want.
Thank you!
Age?
Gender?
When did you start snowboarding?
How long have you been snowboarding?
Why do you like to go snowboarding?
What do you not like about snowboardng?
How much do you pay for your snowboarding equipment or rent?
What does snowboarding remind you of (keywords) EX: fun, speed?
How ofte do ou go snowboarding?
Is there any thing you want to improve on the snowboarding equipment or anything you don't like about those equipment?

Sure, I'll bite...
33
Male
+- age 22
+- 11 years
Pick up chicks... ;) Okay, actually the feeling... the flow.. being in the mountains.. adrenaline rush..
I don't like crowds, or ice. I don't like rude people on the slopes...
I probably spend $300 a year on equipment.. (averaged over all my years boarding)
A rush.... challenge... natural....
+- 30 days a year
I'd like to make the it all lighter... Mostly the board and bindings... Boots aren't too bad these days... A step-in binding with the weight, comfort, and performance of a
strap/flow setup with a quick release.

Well, um, er, uh... okay... I spent about $500 to cover my first 5 years, then have been spending just a weeee bit more since... But it's about bargain shopping.. :)
Besides, if you can use something for other than snowboarding, does it count as a specific snowboarding expense? I have some nice shelves that are snowboards, so didn't count those. And um, I wear my boots as slippers around the house, so those don't count. Clothing is universal, so that doesn't count.. So that's just my binding budget every year I guess.. :)
