I noticed Lamar has their own base material. Has anyone been on one? Is it any good? II have an old Lamar board that I love but not sure about the new base material.

Nothing too new as other companies have been offering it for a few years now. Simply put, it is a higher quality of extruded base that has gone through a sintering process. Higher molecular weight + better wax absorption = faster ride with less base damage. Still not as good as a sintered base though.

So the name is exactly what it is. Kind of dissappointed. I still have an old Kevin Jones Tahoe board and I love it. Don't want to pay full boat prices for less board. Thanks Mark for your wisdom! :D
