If you like poker, and want to play more, go to http://www.ultimatebet.com
You can play for free, play money, and even enter "freeroll" tourney's for cool prizes. But you can also deposit real money and play for cold hard cash. Table's go from .01/.02 to quarters, all the way up to hundreds. Play happens 24/7 on thousands of tables.
The reason I post is because if you enter my sn there (chancetodream, I know it's cheesy, but it's my horse's name) and deposit real money, we both get Bonus Dollars.

to my monthly boys-night-out poker group. I best stay away from Internet gambling.
I heard that the on-line poker games are rigged by players who are in the same room playing at one table with one to two others who aren't, thus increasing their chances of winning. Don't know if it is true but...

Maybe. I haven't seen anything that smells fishy yet. Tournaments would be especially hard to do this with because tables are randomized, they just assign you one. And they also supposedly have scripts written into the software to detect this kind of activity. Who knows...
I did just come in 3rd in a $5 tourney. Won $10!

TBone and I like PartyPoker and sometime PokerRoom. PartyPoker seems to be the favorite among our friends who are die hards as well. Friend of mine made 5K in poker earnings in one year and paid for her granite counter tops in her newly remodeled kitchen. Nice eh?
We havent ever noticed anything fishy either.....but interesting idea?!?! :)

LOL.
How in the world could they even tell if that was happening??
T actually does quite well playing online. THere are always ups and downs, obviously, but he's read all the books, been playing for a few years and has gotten quite good. We're up 1K now! Just gotta keep it coming so we can remodel our kitchen :).

I suppose you could detect patterns, like always folding to a certain player, etc. A pair of people could certainly collude, especially on a sit and go tourney. No matter, I'll take them out in the end anyway, lol....

Oh, and I tried PartyPoker, the servers seem really slow to me. Every game I got into had a lag problem of some sort. Maybe it was me, but I don't experience any delays on ultimate bet at all, even with 2-3 tables going at once....

Hmmm....interesting. I'll have to ask T to check it out. He likes to play 2 tables at once. I can't do it. I like to pay attention to what others are doing at the table and i dont feel like i can do that with more than one table at once :).
Isn't UltimateBet.com the one Chris Moneymaker won to get into the World Poker Championship?

I think so. Heh, "Moneymaker", perfect name, eh?
The only time I have 2 tables going is when I'm waiting for a tournay and I'll have 2-3 .01/.02 tables going. Big fat $0.18 pots sometimes, lol!
Any on-line black jack sites? I've ben known to turn $20 into $300-$800 in a couple of hours, so thought I'd try it on-line if that's possible?

I've played online for a while, and most of it has been non-tournament where that kind of thing could happen. I haven't seen anything fishy at all. And even if there is something fishy, there's enough idiots out there to more than make up for it. ;)

There are times when the server gets way overloaded...sucks the most when your chip leader in a tournament. ;)
It seems like lately they haven't been having as many problems. Lots of horrible players at Party. Ultimate's not bad either, but Party has more table options. PokerStars has a lot of good players. I haven't played PokerRoom in a while.

So more bad players at Party, huh? Well that's a big selling point. I'm there to make money, not to prove manliness, lol...
I like Ultimate because the tables seem easier to navigate. I can't seem to find any freerolls at Party, but they are abundant at UB. I also dislike Party because once you hit "Sit", someone can still swipe your seat. At UB it gets reserved, no one else can click on it.

Tbone, I found all the real bad players - River Belle. I'm moving most my activity there. Lemme know if you want an invite, but if you show up on my table I'm leaving, lol....

Yeah, it's online. It's smaller than the others, but worth it, IMO. Actually, I though I saw you last night in a tourney, someone named "Tboneman". If you're interested, give me your email, $20 minumum, might be worth checking out....
