OT: Beer.

Anyway, a friend of mine recently did me a big favor, so I figure what better way to say thanks than with beer.

Problem is, I don't know what brand he favors, and I myself know zip about that fine beverage. So, I need help picking out a good-quality beer that is "universal"...you know, a beer pretty much everyone likes. So, nothing too light or too dark or too whatever.

Sierra Nevada, maybe?

to say thanks. ;) However, if your friend is patial to beer, a universal winner, IMHO, is Sam Adams. You can't go wrong with a beer spokesman like this:
