Last seen somewhere in the PNW.. Jibnot on the road... (http://www.vannin.com/showvans/cosmic/)

Jibby, you gonna rumble down to SoCal? Mammoth stays open through May...sometimes into June...or July...

Surf stays open year round.

You can't just make that little post on Canaria's thread and not fill us in on what you've been up to!

Testing to see if I can do this with cell phone modem thing.

No more land lines :D

Did spot Griz and that’s almost sasquatch ummm..I was lucky enough to stumble across a Canadian Lynx while snowshoeing. It was very windy, noisy and the cat walked by about 30 yards up wind of me.

Classic Jibnot photo reportage! LOL.

You sure that lynx wasn't a hairy-legged, lonely-hearted Canadian she-cougar on the prowl? The women up there have different standards when it comes to hair removal, yunno. ;)

Okay Canaria how do you know about saskwatch theme? Seriously!
--------------
Can I post multiple photos with this new site format or do I have to link them from some other page?

Link Rev posted ,cougar manifesto in particular.
Actually I’m starting to think the cat might have been a juvenile Mouton lion. It had a long tail, as far as I know Lynx have a short tail. The cat was about 40 lbs, gray with light spots. I can only find pics of young Mt lions that have the tan color with white spots and a faint light gray longer hair coat that is almost transparent in relation to the tan undercoat.
This was in the Southern Alberta Rockies SE of Fernie. Anyone?

Lynx and Bobcats have stumps instead of tails, so you must've seen a young cougar.

That, or someone's overfed housecat maybe?

by Tenacious D :D

There were some scientists.
Trying to figure out the Sasquatch riddle,
Then they figured out it was a missing link.

In search of Sasquatch,
that was a kick-ass In Search Of
with Leonard Nimoy
kickin' out the jams...ha!

He captured imagination,
Of people all around the globe.

His name was Sasquatch, so I'm told.

His legend's ancient
in the ancient scribe of the indian tribe.
Apache tribe.

Scientists have proven that the Sasquatch, he is real.
Take a look at the plaster cast of his foot, now you know he's real.
Listen real close to the audio tape, not human no you know he's real.
Couldn't be a man in gorilla suit, no ****in' way.
No, you know he's real.
Real, real, real real, real, real, really real, real.

--Interrupted by J.B. & K.G. talking to Sasquatch--

Sasquatch,
We know your legend's real.
Sasquatch,
We know your love is real.
Sasquatch,
You and Tenacious D, are...real.

LOL.

The section on how to talk nice to a man is hilarious!

The maintenance guy was just over the other day, changing a light fixture for me, and I didn't even think to take that approach. Sigh. I just offered him a beer instead. ;)

Update

About four years ago the van died. I bought another 1991 Previa, an allusive 5spd AWD.
I’m 38 and have only bought three vehicles in my life; sadly I still have and drive two of them.
Upside, A-frame in the mountains, wife, kid and work for a ski/snowboard company.
I must admit I sometimes miss living out of a van and urinating in Gatorade bottles in the middle of the night.
