Well, it was no foolin' at Kirkwood over the weekend. 2 ft of Sierra fresh... Not cement, but not blower, but all good... Due to some nice breezy weather, some pockets of less than a foot on one side of the ridge means a few pockets of 3ft in other places... Nice....

I could have taken a lot of cool photo's of the North American freeskiing championships :), or the finals of the Skier-X tour :), but it was a powder day... Sorry, no cool photos from me, but plenty here: http://www.usfreeskiing.com/2006/Kirkwood/kirkwood_index.html

Yah, you have to be extreme to compete on a swallowtail... :) Good times..

Instead, a bunch of my normal uncool photos of pretty snow and blue/grey/cloudy skies..

First 3 are of the Cirque, where the competition was held.. The rest is, around...

nice....

i actually got out both sat and sun last weekend. a little fresh in the clouds at super st bernard, then bluebird untracked at G3000. felt good to make some pow turns this late.

no pics...i forgot the camera! :(
