New rider - first board

Any suggestions for a beginner, female, all mountain rider who is 5'4" and 130 lbs? I currently have my heart set on a Burton feather (cliche, I know) but am not sure about length.

Where do you ride? Understand also that your height has nothing to do with your board size. Weight, boot size, riding style, and where you ride are important. The Feather is a decent board for you, although there are many boards with that tech(and better) at a lesser price.
