Went up to Keystone on Sunday. Got some knee high freshies in spots. Bumps had great snow in spots. We had gotten almost two feet in the last four days or so.
Killa stuff. Hope everyone else is having a decent start to the season.
Unfortunately, no pics.

I got some sloppy seconds a couple times about shin deep Sunday. Does that count? Probably won't be up there again until the 18th or so... Definitely a much slower start to the season this year. But hey, it's not my fault the PNW and you guys took all our snow this year...
Need to get some photos of riding going... I'm missing the weekly Monday photo reports from Ripz....

Glad you are getting out to play.
How'd the Missus like her new board, purchased with your ill-gotten gambling winnings?
Nothing more fun than free money! 'Cept maybe free beer.

Bunda's got a smaller, less expensive camera, and she took some pics when we were up a couple weeks ago. Just hasn't gotten around to posting them.
Liz, the great thing about gambling is you get free beer while you are gambling! :)
She liked the board, but it was tough to compare to the old board. We kinda had a bad day actually as we played volleyball for countless hours 2 days previously and were both kinda sore from that. I think she'll start realizing the improvement as the season goes on.

Definitely missed riding w/ya T. It's raining today in Tahoe. That's about all there is here. Still hoping for some white stuff. Rode two days ago at Heavenly. It was nice packed powder. It really needs more coverage. There are alot of jib-stacles. The snow reminds me of Colorado on our bad years. I hate to say this but i'm a bit let down by this whole experience. I can't wait to get back to Colorado and ride. At least the weather here is mild so it has been comfortable. The girlie and i haven't had much luck at the casinos. Seems a pick pocket got some of her stash right out of her purse. The food is really good and the water sure beats the mountain water in Co. The prices are a bit steep. All in all it is memorable. NK-sorry we haven't been able to hook up. I can understand why noone wants to go out. Everyone is waiting for the goods. Hopefully something will come in with this rain.

I was thinking of you while I was at Keystone, if that's any consolation. :)
It's still early season, so unfortunately, sketchy conditions may exist. I'm sure they'll get more than their share within the next few weeks.
Sucks too about the pick pocket. South Lake Tahoe's very nice though. Bunda and I had a blast while we were there, but the weather was a bit better. ;) You know the house they filmed the Godfather II is on Lake Tahoe? I think it's a ways from South Lake Tahoe, but you can get there by following that road that follows the lake. Three's some other cool sites to see along the lake if the snow's not treating you right. Beautiful up there.
Blue Sky's opening on Friday! Thinking about maybe heading up on Saturday, but have to get back early. It took me an hour and a half to get from Frisco to Georgetown on Sunday. After that it opened up for some reason.

Snofool.. You really should have tried to grab a shuttle out to Kirkwood today... I'm pretty sure they have busses running from at least one of the casinos there in South Lake... They have about 4" new form overnight, on top of there 'ok' base...
Well, hope you aren't gambling away all your time... By the looks of your post at 2am, you're having a good time at least...
