It is time to replace my old walmart tent and get a serious one. I am planning to buy a good 4person quality tent but I don't which one is best.
There is a few models that seems good but I dont see any review of those :
Marmot Halo 4P
Mountain Hardwear Atrium (Is the Crossflow better ?)
Sierra Design nomad 4.2
Any advice would be welcome, i am planning to do mostly canoing, standard camping and a few backpacking trips.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

I've actually been looking for a tent for my daughter's upcoming camping trip. I came across this website http://www.campingroadtrip.com/. They had an excellent article on tents you may want to check it out. We're actually going on a family trip in the next few months and this webiste is actually pretty helpful. You can find everything from campgrounds to attractions. We usually like to go RVing and this site allows you to find campgrounds within 25 miles of your location!. I cant wait to hit the road! :D good like with your tent!

Thanks for the link, I'll be looking at tent articles soon when I start my research. I may be camping late this summer for the first time in my life. I would need to get myself in the right state of mind though first, because I like to be knowledgeable on a subject in order to feel confident trying something new.

Having an REI down the street from where I work helps me with this type of decision :-)
For my personal hiking tent I have the T2 and it is incredible. Very lightweight and extremely strong. You don not need to stake it out which is handy in the Adirondacks as the ground is rocky.
They do have a 4-person version but I have never owned it. I saw it in person and almost bought it but me and my wife don't really need a 4-person one.
